We were asked to supply some video rushes of a recent Under 15 Soccer tournament for Explore Waterloo for their content library. We used a pair of Canon 1DX Mk III cameras for their extremely fast autofocus performance paired with 70-200 f2.8 and 300 f2.8 lenses to isolate the athletes from the backgrounds.
Ordinarily we’d interview some of the players and coaches to tell a story but our scope was just to get some video rushes for future use so we did a quick edit for these action montages so we had something to share. The photography below is just a handful of the over 2000 images captured that afternoon.
